I actually changed the car I had for this assignment. Even though at first I wanted to do the Suzuki Fronte as it meant a lot to me, it was sort of impossible because there was no reference. I decided to change to an equally important car and that is the Mr. Bean car. The Mr. Bean car is a 1977 Leyland Cars Mini 1000 Mark IV. This car meant a lot to me because I watched so much Mr. Bean growing up.

At first, I wanted a large amount of references for the car so it would make my life easier to model this car. Turns out, there are many different generations and they all differ from the main Fronte I was trying to make. This proved to be a little challenging because there could be a good picture but it was just not the right shape for the car or something would be off that just totally wouldn't help me. After a while searching, I found a good batch of pictures that I can use as a reference.
During class, I started on the silhouette and tracings of my car and I didn't like how they turned out. I was trying to trace every nook and cranny but they didn't turn out like how the car looks. I decided I needed to not focus on getting every little detail rather I need to get the shape and the size of the car first.
I then went back and started over. and tried to make curves to draw out the shape of the car and I feel as I achieved a better result. It can still be better but its a good starting point for me to now go in with mesh tools to start to build out a solid model of the car.
